In Today’s teaching, Our Father, Pastor Kingsley C. Nmakwe made it clear that backsliding is a gradual drift away from God, not something that happens all at once.

It often begins with a loss of consistency and a shift in focus from spiritual things to worldly desires.

Papa also showed us that christianity is not just about starting strong, it’s about remaining steady and finishing well, Our walk with God requires continuity, discipline, and a sustained passion.

And papa gave some symptoms of backsliding: 

Inconsistency in fellowship, reduced interest in spiritual guidance, increasing attraction to worldly things, and a growing coldness toward God.

Today’s  message helped us stay intentional, remain spiritually alive, and guard our relationship with God.
